The Hope Bobcats displayed another impressive performance on the Bank of the Ozarks Field at Hammons Stadium last Thursday night in total domination against Class 6A El Dorado Wildcats 2-0 to take the first of two game league series match-up in their 5A/6A Conference meetings at home.

The Bobcats’ defensive unit stood ground completely to hold the Wildcats scoreless for the entire 80 minutes of play. Offensively, Chris Torres and Noel Balbuena sparked the Cats with a goal scored apiece in the contest with Nick Sanchez providing an assist. Goalie Ezequel Monreal impacted with key saves for the entire game to hold the Wildcats without a goal scored.

The Cats will be back in soccer action after spring break March 27 on the road against Hot Springs to conclude their season series in conf. play facing the Trojans in Spa City. Then Thursday March 29, the Cats travel to De Queen to finish league series action.
